Madeleine de l’Aubespine
Madeleine de l’Aubespine (1546 Villeroy, Burgundy - 1596) was a French poet,[1][2][3]
She was a lady in waiting to Catherine de Medicis. She corresponded with Pierre de Ronsard.[4]
Family
She was the daughter of Claude de L'Aubespine, and Jeanne Bochetel.[5] She married Nicolas de Neufville, seigneur de Villeroy; they had a son, Charles de Neufville.[6]
